No doubt, education is the key to the success of any country, economically, socially, scientifically, and culturally. Therefore, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, our wise government has sought to provide educational opportunities at all levels for our sons and daughters. This is confirmed by the great expansion that the Kingdom is witnessing in the field of education in terms of the number of schools, colleges, and universities and their spread so that the opportunity for education becomes available throughout our dear country.
Hence, we find that the "Kingdom's Vision 2030" came in line with the education message and supported it. This appears clearly through providing educational opportunities for all in an appropriate educational environment, raising the quality of its outputs, increasing the effectiveness of scientific research, encouraging creativity and innovation, developing community partnership, creating a wide range of cultural and social activities, and cooperating with the private sector and the non-profit sector in providing more programs and events. In addition, the vision also seeks to harmonize the outcomes of the educational system with the needs of the labor market. Therefore, PSAU has devoted itself to being the factory of the efficient human being and contributing to building this dear nation's edifice. Therefore, the mission it aspired to was: Qualifying graduates who are able to compete by providing education that conforms to global standards in an academic research environment with distinguished human resources, effective community partnership, and a supportive administrative system. Among its strategic objectives, it aimed to serve graduates and interact with the labor market. PSAU achieved that by introducing mechanisms to develop the competitive capabilities of graduates through the formation of a central committee and sub-committees to design programs that link all graduates of colleges to the university to measure the capabilities of graduates and the interaction of the labor market with them. The university also worked to connect employers with colleges and the university.
Those are its mission and goals that it always seeks to achieve to serve you in all your stages in it, before you come to it, from the first time you enter its door until you be presented to the community as leaders, scholars, and innovators.
PSAU is a distinguished educational edifice, so it is aware of its role and its mission in achieving the nation's educational vision. Under the directives of our wise leadership, it always seeks to prepare its students with science and knowledge and do everything it can to be a leading university in its programs and outputs. By the grace of Allah, it has achieved qualitative educational, academic, and research leaps. PSAU would not have achieved this without Alla's grace first, and then the generous support that the university receives from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, just like all other universities and the education sector in general.
In conclusion, I call upon all university students, faculty members, and staff, to exert effort and double the work, and contribute each in his role and in his position to building this nation, raising its flag, and spreading science and knowledge to achieve a prosperous present for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and participating in drawing its future.
